I have donated a work for an auction to help students from a secondary school in Holland to participate in an environmental project in Borneo.
The project focusses on the rapid disappearance of rainforests on the island. Palmoil-plantations and illegal wood-production are some of the reasons why the forests are disappearing from the island. The students from the Beekdal Lyceum in Arnhem will participate in a project to save the last remaining uran- utangs and their habitat.
A Dutch charity-organisation has doubled the outcome of the auction.
